WHAT/WHAT NOT/WHO

Things you can steal:

  • a territory of the island you belong to
  • one mare(amazon/harem)
  • one non-dependant foal
  • one stallion (bachelor only)
  • freedom for yourself, your foal
  • horses from the other island
    What you can't
  • Land owners
  • subordinate stallions
  • dependant foals
  • ownerless mares
  • Darkhaven and Meronil
    Who can steal:
  • any horse over three years of age.
  • stallions may not steal mares unless they have a Territory or a position that allows for mares.
    • TYPES
    Steal types:
  • Two main types: statement and riddle.
  • statement example 1: I am stealing Fred's mare Daisy
  • statement example 2: I am stealing Fred's land The Creek.
  • statement steals last 2 full days
    Riddles
  • must have a minimum of three hints
  • land, leader, object being stolen(void if stealing land)
  • these last 3 full days
  • can be in poem form
  • can incorporate "letter direction" *
  • may use languages.
  • may use black text
  • may use number patterns **
  • may not use ASCII/Hex/etc codes
    * first/last letters in lines spelling a name ** these steals MUST have the solve in them somewhere. ie: if using a number/letter pattern where A-Z is 1-26 remember your ABCs and 123s would easily suffice. (not limited to that, can be sneakier ;] )
    • GENERAL RULES

  • All steals must be declared Valid by a Mod first
  • therefore you must explain them in a reveal
  • you must say who you were stealing if you get Caught but you do not have to give a reveal
  • once something is stolen no one can steal/challenge for that land/horse for a full three days.
  • whomever steals the territory gets to keep whatever mares are there.
  • bachelor stallions are allowed to leave, or can be kept hostage by amazon mares.
  • any mare stolen by another mare that is not a lead then belongs to whomever that mare's lead is
    • BLOCKING

  • you are only responsible for blocking those directly under you
  • subordinate stallions are responsible for their own mares/foals
  • you may block for half/majority of your herd and half/majority of yor foals
  • ie: you have 5 mares, 4 foals. you may block 3 mares and 2 foals.
  • leads do not have to block everyone at once, they are allowed to space out the blocks but if the steal runs out before they use all their blocks and one of their mare's gets stolen the mare is still stolen, they failed to block.
  • the stealer must tell the blocker if they are correct or incorrect.
  • if a lead blocks all they are allowed to, and the stealer is stealing someone else from that herd that was not blocked, the stealer does not have to wait the full three days to reveal.
