Once you have gained enough experience you can make an out of character post here to request a power or trait (not already available to you in your current element), you will need to provide a link to your library thread as evidence. Depending on how powerful your new power or trait will determine how much experience you need to buy it, the more powerful the ability the greater the cost. A staff member will then approve your request, and confirm how much experience your character needs to buy that power or trait. If your trait or power is deemed too powerful the staff will make suggestions to level it out a bit. If your character can't afford what you are requesting at the moment you are more then welcome to return once you have enough experience. Examples of how much experienced needed to buy a trait are given in the rules under the experience section.
