The Hall
Pews lay on either side of a long hall that ends in an alter decorated with gold. Archways separate the pews from dusty libraries long forgotten by mankind. A double stairway curves around the alter and leads up to the second story; a balcony with rooms leading off of it. There is also a stone stairway behind the alter that leads down to the dungeons. All the doors in this old, forgotten monastery are broken and lay in splinters where they once stood save for the oak double doors of the entrance which are left open a crack.

Cortana's smile only grew at the little fem's tenacity and self command. She was definitely a smart one as well as a no-bull kind of girl. The white and pink wolfess rather liked it, she could see this pup, Dakota was her name, thriving in a place like The Brotherhood. "Loyalty is a good thing," Cortana said after a few seconds of silence, deep pink cores focused intently on the other fem's eyes. Standing from where she sat, the large fem began circling Dakota slowly.

"However, revenge is not," Cortana's voice became clippy, a bit short and rather serious. "Revenge is like a bucket with a hole; it holds nothing and can only promise emptiness." The large fem stopped and pivoted to face Dakota in one graceful movement, face flickering in a smile. "What you want, my dear, is to prove to yourself that you're not this weak wolf others may see you as. That is commendable. Nothing really holds any weight until you first prove it to yourself. Others' opinions matter very little on personal matter." Cortana's pink tipped tail flicked, deep pink cores bright and mischievous. "And as long as we're talking opinion, I'll give you this to chew on: it's my belief that good and evil don't exist. They're merely a point of view. I see myself as very good, for many reasons. Of course, due to my personal attitudes towards strangers and just plane strange creatures, there are many that think of me as evil. Who is right? Well, I say I am. But try to convince them otherwise..."

Cortana smirked rather playfully, taking a few seconds to hum to herself, lifting a paw and inspecting her nails as she thought. There was a pause in the song, a strange lilting tune, and she looked back up to Dakota with a rather wicked smile. "Try the monastery on for size," she started out of the silence. "If it doesn't suit you, you're welcome to leave. No strings attached. Just watch who you approach here, we don't tend to attract the chatty type."

With that, the fem turned and began walking toward the large staircase. There was an egg up in the tower she'd left unattended, it just wouldn't due if her little devil hatched without her present. "See you at training," Cortana called back to the fem without looking over her shoulder. Dakota was a big girl, she could show herself around.
